Skip… A man with a dream

A dream to have a real radio name. I’ve had many sleepless nights pondering names that would suit me. They were good, but they weren’t perfect. So I am coming to you, the experts. I know you’ve heard countless names and I bet that you can come up with the best alias of all time. Unlike my parents you get a chance to get to know me before naming me. My real name is Alex. I lived in California till I was fourteen then I moved to Kentucky. I am a college student at MSU, and I am a freshmen. I watch most every sport, but my favorite is football. I started working at Bristol Broadcasting right after high school. It is the best job I’ve ever had; I mean I get to work with Andy and Andrews, Nick Black, And Snapper Williams all the time. I am a board operator, this means that I sit in the studio while one of the DJ’s is at a remote and broadcast what they say at certain parts of each hour.  I am always laughing and having fun at work and outside of work. On Sundays me and my friends get together to play football. I’m a movie buff, I usually don’t go to theatres I like to get the Dvds. Also I love music, especially classic rock, I’m talking about The Beatles, The Who, Elton John, and Kiss. This is why movies like “Tommy” and “Across the Universe” are my favorites. One day I walk into work and ask Nick if I could be a writer on the blog. He said sure, then put my on the air and called me Skip 2mylue, and that brings us too now. It’s time for Skip to grow up, I need a name that pops, it has got to be bold, elegant, shiny, and catchy, you know “the works”. This is a moment that can’t be passed up, every time you hear or read my name from now on you can say “I did that, I named him.” You’ll be the envy of your street. It’ll be a story you can tell your children and your children’s children, you’ll go down in history as the fans that renamed Skip.
